RONO HILLS, Sep 24:The Rajiv Gandhi University NSS Cell organized Swachta hi Seva cleanliness drive in the premise of academic block during the early morning hours and conducted orientation programme for the NSS volunteers to marked the National Service Scheme foundation day.

Delivering the orientation lecture, Prof. Otem Padung, Head Department of Commerce, RGU, urged the volunteers to cultivate humility stressing on the basic idea of the NSS motto i.e “Not Me but You”. He also urged students to participate in the NSS’s regular activities and special programs which will help them in developing a balanced personality.

Many members associated with the NSS for long also shared their views.
