ITANAGAR, Apr 4: Security Forces on Tuesday apprehended one over-ground worker of the NSCN (K) along with one point 22 pistol and five rounds live ammunition from Lalpahar village under Margherita PS in Arunachal Pradesh.
According to Defence sources, based on specific intelligence inputs about presence of a cadre in Lalpahar village, the Changlang Battalion of Security Forces undertook an operation on Tuesday night and apprehended one over ground worker of the NSCN (K) identified as Limham Jugli, resident of Paharpur village, Tinsukia in Assam.
On spot interrogation, it was discovered that the over ground worker had been actively supporting the banned outfit, threatening locals and carrying out extortion for the group.
