New Delhi, May 26: The legislature party meeting of National People’s Party Arunachal Pradesh was held today here at the party’s national office under the chairmanship of its National President and Chief Minister of Meghalaya Conrad K Sangma.
State President Gicho Kabak, Home Minister Meghalaya James Sangma, MLAs Mutchu Mithi, Tapuk Taku, Gokar Basar and other senior leaders of the party attended the meeting. After a threadbare discussion on the scenario that had evolved following the simultaneous State Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in Arunachal Pradesh, the elected MLAs of the party unanimously elected Mutchu Mithi as NPP Legislature Party Leader.  
Members present in the meeting extended their heartfelt congratulations to Pema Khandu for the grand success of winning 41 MLAs and two MPs and hoped that  Khandu led government will do its best for all-round development of the state.
National President Conrad K Sangma asked the state party leaders to visit the families of   Late Tirong Aboh and others who were killed by militants. Sangma will also be attending the oath taking ceremony of Pema Khandu as Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh on May 29. NPP Press Release
