ITANAGAR, Dec 11: The National People’s Party (NPP) Arunachal Pradesh has welcomed veteran political leader and former Chief Minister of Meghalaya Dr. DD Lapang who resigned from the Congress party recently and joined the NPP in presence of Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma who is also the National President on Monday.
His joining the party will strengthen the hand of Conrad Sangma as well as party organization in North East and will also boost the morale of the party workers, said NPP Arunachal unit in a press release.
