ITANAGAR, Jul 20: Following the order of District Magistrate, ‘No Helmet No Petrol' drive was kicked off today in all the Petrol depots of the capital complex.
'As of now the response is good from riders as most of them came wearing their helmet,' said a Manager of a depot. However there were few riders who came without a helmet and we have clearly informed them about the order, he added.
This is a very good initiative taken by the District Magistrate, indeed such directives should be issued in all the districts as well as, said  a rider who came to refuel his bike.
Earlier on July 5 last, Deputy Commissioner Cum District Magistrate Capital Complex, Vikram Singh Malik issued an order directing all the fuel station (Petrol Pump) to prohibit refueling of bikes if riders are without helmet.
