ITANAGAR, Mar 24: Despite rising cases of Covid-19 in the country and the first case also reported in the Northeast in Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh continues to remain free from the virus which was confirmed by the ‘Bulletin On Covid-19 For Arunachal Pradesh’ released on Tuesday.
The State Task Force meeting for Covid-19 headed by Director of Health Services along with other three Directors, Dean TRIHMS, senior officials of health, representatives of IMA, WHO, UNICEF and Jhpiego was held at the Conference Hall of DHS-Naharlagun today. The task force has reviewed the work executed so far in respect to Covid-19 by the state and the action plan prepared for its effective management. Universal Screening of all passengers entering the state continues and as on Tuesday, the total number of persons screened at all entry points was 16035.
BSNL has also activated a toll free number 104 for Covid-19 in the State Control Room for any query.
