NAMSAI, Sep 23: National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) will construct roads using Single Use Plastic (SUP). This was informed by the Deputy General Manager (Projects) Branch Office Namsai during an awareness rally against the use of plastic.
DGM, Namsai Office- Deep Chand Nag disclosed that at least seven km road both in Kanubari and Pasighat will be constructed through SUP after proper reworking. Earlier, hundreds of school students, public and civil societies participated in the mass awareness rally being organized by NHIDCL to create awareness against SUP. The awareness programme was a part of the month long ‘Swachta Hi Seva’ initiatives.
