DOIMUKH, Nov 2: Education Minister Honchun Ngandam on Friday attended the valedictory function of the 6th Annual College Day Celebration at Government College, Doimukh.
In his address to the large gathering of students, the Minister emphasised on the necessity of self-discipline and hard work in life. He advised the students to strive for the best and to prepare for future competitions and also to contribute to the development and welfare of the state.
He also expressed his pleasure on seeing the College environment and students’ enthusiasm.

Referring to the memorandum submitted by the students’ union, GCD, he gave his assurance to complete the remaining 40% of the boundary wall at the earliest.

Out of the four houses, Kamle, Pakke Kesang, Lepa Rada and Shi Yomi, that participated in the week-long celebration, Kamle house emerged as the champion in overall category.  
The program was also attended by Dr Aruna Gyati Lod, Principal, Binny Yanga Women's College, Lekhi and Dr N T Rikam, Principal, DNGC, Itanagar as guest of honour and special guests.
