ITANAGAR, Feb 8: Education Minister, Honchun Ngandam advised all stakeholders of NSS of the state to play proactive role to develop Arunachal Pradesh for better tomorrow. Minister was addressing the officers and NSS officials at NSS Advisory Committee Meeting held here today at Directorate of Higher & Technical Education.
He further added that under the able leadership of Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein state is moving ahead. Minister also urged the authorities give their best for the betterment of the state and its people.
While addressing the members of advisory committee Secretary, Education Dr Madhu Rani Teotia extended her greetings and commended the NSS cell. She suggested the re-appropriation of NSS Volunteer: of 13800 among 101 units of the state as per their achievements.
She also suggested that the department is ready to support Northeast Youth Festival and expressed concern about need of one Training Center in RGU for Training and Orientation of NSS programme Officers.
Among others Director Higher & Technical Education, Dr. Tayek Talom, Regional Director NSS, Dipak Kumar, Vice Chancellor-Arunadaya University Dr. VN Sharma and others attended the meeting. DIPR
