NAHARLAGUN, Nov 9: Minister for Education and Library appealed to the student community to become a fine gentlemen and ladies to serve society and become part of state’s development process. He was addressing the valedictory function of 22th annual college week celebration at Donyi Polo Government College at Kamba in West Siang district on Monday last as chief guest. Ngandam while stressing the development of education scenario of the state urged the teaching community to stress on the quality of education. The minister also laid the foundation stone for science block and inaugurated extended library building and boys common room on the occasion.

Liromoba MLA Nyamar Karbak who attended the function as guest of honour said that the college established way back in 1996 during the tenure of former Minister Education Lijum Ronya is now getting a lot of infrastructure under his initiative and introduction of science stream.
West Siang Deputy Commissioner in-charge Nampang Wangjen was also present.
