ITANAGAR, Nov 24: The Oath taking ceremony of the newly inducted executive members of the Nyishi Elite Society was held at NES Secretariat, Richi, Jullang on Saturday.
Newly elected NES President Bengia Tolum, in his speech extended gratitude to the Nyishi Community for reposing faith in his leadership and assured that he will continue to work for the glory of the community in particular and state in general. He also appealed to the Nyishi community to support the early completion of the NES Secretariat and Nyishi Heritage village.
Besides, MLAs from Nyishi communities and students organization the ceremony was also attended  by the members of various CBOs  Adi Baane Kebang, Galo Welfare Society, Tani Supun Dukun, Tagin Cultural Society, Tai Khampti Singpho Council, Monpa Mimang Tshokpa, All Bugun(Khowa) Society, Mishmi Welfare Society, Yobin Welfare Society  Tangsa Literary & Cultural Development Society and Itanagar Buddhist Cultural Society.
