JULLANG, Dec 10: The Sixth Extended Executive Body Meeting of Nyishi Elite Society (NES) was held under the Chairmanship of Bengia Tolum, President NES on Saturday at NES Secretariat, Richi-Jullang Itanagar.
During the meeting, the Bye-law tabled by the Bye-law Review Committee led by Chairman, Tarh Tabin was taken up and passed by voice vote with minor additions and deletions. Among other major changes, five new articles were taken up. In addition to existing posts in the District/Regional and Block level two posts each of Coordinator Women and Youth were created and charter of duties of the office bearers has also been redefined.
One of the major decisions adopted was to elect the President and rest executive body only through general conferencing cum election to be constituted by the President with wider consultations.
Following a request from Secretary In-Charge East Kameng, the meeting also deferred the date of XIIth NES Conference-cum-Election proposed at Seppa due to the ensuing Lok Sabha and state Assembly election.
Meanwhile, NES, President, Bengia Tolum, urged the house to thoroughly examine the reviewed articles submitted by the Bye-law review committee which will decide the future of society. 
Former Chief Minister, Nabam Tuki, Minister Home, UD etc, Kumar Waii, Minister RWD, IPR, Printing etc, Bamang Felix, MLAs Tapuk Taku, Markio Tado, Pani Taram, former NES President Dr. Joram Begi were present in the meeting.
