DEED, Oct 8: The Nyishi Elite Society (NES) has appealed the people of Joram and Koloriang to cooperate with the executing agencies for timely completion of ongoing road repairing and maintenance work from Talo to Yapap Gyeko without creating any disturbances.
The appeal was made in a meeting held at Deed under Yachuli on Sunday wherein several organisation affiliated to NES including PRIs, Public participated.
In his address, NES General Secretary and Palin Employees Welfare Association President, Heri Maring said that the Joram-Koloriang road is the lone lifeline road of Kra Daadi, Kurung Kumey and upper belt of Lower Subansiri districts and also very important from strategic point of view.
Meanwhile, a local committee has been constituted to monitor and coordinate with the construction agency for early completion of said road.
Further a team from Kra Daadi District Unit NES led by its Chairman Biri Son and Lower Subansiri District Unit NES Chairman NL Togu inspected Govt. Higher Secondary School Talo which was devastated in a fire accident on October 7 and assured support for its complete restoration.
