NIRJULI, Jul 8: Celebrating the Van Mahotsava Week, a plantation drive was carried out at North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology (NERIST) campus themed ‘Clean NERIST Green NERIST” under the banner of NERIST Research Scholars Association (NRSA), in Nirjuli on Saturday last.

Speaking on the occasion, President NRSA Dhon Bagang lauded all the participants for taking active part in the plantation drive. He requested the NERIST administration to assign gardeners for proper maintenance of the saplings.

The programme was also  joined by research scholars and employees, Registrar In-charge of NERIST, MK Camder among others.
