ITANAGAR, Jun 25:  Namsai District BJP Unit celebrated the 4 years completion and achievement of of Bharatiya Janata Party government in the Centre at Mahadevpur today.

  While highlighting various welfare programs and policies of the Central Govt, Deputy Chief Minister, Chowna Mein said that under dynamic Prime Minister Narendra Modi, North East Region has received special focus in the Centre and the result is visible with the accelerated development in terms of infrastructure especially in air, railway and road connectivity in the region.

He said that the Prime Minister is so focused and giving special attention to the NE region, which can be proved, from the number of times he has visited the North East Region since he became the Prime Minister of India. “Modi has visited the region more than the total numbers of visits taken by the previous Prime Ministers in the last 60 years prior to him”, Mein said.

He said that the BJP Govt in the Centre is committed for inclusive growth and development in all fronts some of it focus areas are multi-faceted focus on doubling farmers income, empowering the women through legislation, harnessing yuva shakti through skill development, transforming education and furthering sports and sportsmanship through Khelo India, to ease doing of business through GST, urban transformation through smart cities, etc.

He further stated that the BJP Govt is committed for eliminating corruption, institutionalizing honesty and enhancing transparency through IT, DBT, etc. He added that the State Govt under the leadership of young & dynamic Chief Minister Pema Khandu is also working hand in hand for achieving all these objectives in the State and committed to implement all the PM’s/CM’s Flagship programmes and CSS in letter and spirit in the State.

He also informed that the Chief Minister has also launched CM’s Dashboard and satellite based Geo tagging App through which the Chief Minister and the Govt can monitor the progress, status and implementations of projects by click of a mouse.

Parliamentary Secretary for Planning & Investment, Training and Personnel, Chau Zingnu Namchoom also highlighted welfare programmes and policies initiated by the BJP Govt.
