ITANAGAR, Apr 13:
The Arunachal Christian Forum in a release has strongly condemned the
NDA government’s move to observe "Christmas day" as Good Governance
Day and "Good Friday" as Digital India Day. Terming the decision as
against the Christian fraternity, the apex Christian body opined that
NDA government after coming to power has repeatedly tried to play with
the religious sentiments of Christians by deliberately coinciding
various observance with important events of Christian calendar. The
decision of the NDA government is undermining the secular fabric of
this great nation and is also furthering the agenda of religious
intolerance against religious minorities, the ACF added.
