ITANAGAR, Oct 28: Member, National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) Rosy Taba called on Director, Women and Child Development, TP Loyi at her office at Itanagar today.
The member who was briefed about various child related schemes implemented by the state, appreciated the various programme carried out by the department. She also lauded the state government for allocating funds for special child residing in various Child Care Institutes (CCI). She emphasised on the need of CCI in all the district as well as proper orientation training to members of Child Welfare Committee and Juvenile Justice Board Members.   While interacting with the staff, she asked the department to invite genuine NGOs for running Child line in all the districts and also invite corporate bodies as well as local legislators to contribute for the welfare of children.  The member NCPCR is on a four day visit to the state to review various schemes under taken by Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India.
