The list comprises prominent names set to represent NCP across various constituencies. However, amidst the announcement, Likha Saaya addressed recent assertions from the Tai Khamti  Development Society regarding outsiders contesting in the Namsai District. He defended the democratic ethos, emphasizing the right of individuals from diverse backgrounds to participate in elections. Saaya highlighted the multi-ethnic composition of Namsai, asserting his connection to the Tani clan, as well as other communities residing in the district, are deprived of various developments.
He stated that only a few people are getting the fruits of development in Namsai. Moreover, in Namsai there is dynasty politics, that needs to be changed for the welfare of all, added Saaya.
