TAWANG, Jun 12: Group Commander NCC Headquarters Tezpur Group B, Brigadier K. Sreenivasa Rao, visited the temporary office of the 2nd Battallion NCC Arunachal Pradesh here on June 11.
Addressing the gathering after guard of honour by NCC cadets, the Group Commander congratulated all on the historic event of making of 2nd BN NCC headquarters in Tawang. He said that NCC cadets from Arunachal Pradesh are doing exceptionally, and there is need to encourage the state’s youths to join NCC. Organizing camps as well as institutional trainings every Saturday and Sunday in this new office are also being planned and for this he asked the Principals and Headmasters of schools/colleges to extend their help.
The Group Commander was received by the Commanding Officer 2nd Bn NCC Tawang, Colonel R.Shekhawat along with other offic ers and representatives of educational institutions and later inspected the entire office building. DIPRO
