Itanagar, Feb 5: Two NCC girl cadets of Dera Natung Government College, Itanagar, who participated in the Republic Day parade at Kartavya Path, New Delhi were felicitated by the college management today.
The principal, Dr. M. Q. Khan, felicitated both the cadets at his office chamber. Expressing joy and great satisfaction, the principal lauded the NCC units of the college and the dedicated cadets for their outstanding achievements at various regional and national level camps. He added that every year NCC cadets from DNGC have been representing in Thal Sainik Camp, Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Camp (EBSB), IMA Camp, besides the college organised CATC Camp, which was effective and successful from January 18-27 last and DNGC was adjudged the best institution in the camp. He further mentioned that two NCC cadets from college participated in RDC 2023 also.This is a great honour for the college that the NCC cadets represented in RDC for consecutive two years and that this is a proud moment for the college and the state.
He also lauded the sincerity of the two CTOs -Dr. Likha Eichir and Goke Riji for painstakingly guiding and training the cadets, the college informed in a release.
