PASIGHAT, Nov 18: The Government Higher Secondary School, Bilat which is representing Arunachal Pradesh in the ongoing 64th School Game Federation of India, National Football Championship being held at Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan, reached.the  pre-quarter final on Saturday after defeating Telangana by 5-0.
Displaying his best skill to push Arunachal in to the next level of the championship, Franklin Taki scored 2 goals, while other equally talented players Gospel Radeng, India Saroh and Neymar Pajing scored one goal each. Franklin Taki was adjudged man of the match for his two goals, informed Onya Padung, district coordinator, sports and youth services, East Siang District.
In the earlier matches played, the same team defeated Dadra and Nagar Havelii by 6-1 in  the second match of the tournament in which promising players Neymar Pajing, Nongku Tamat and India Saroh scored 2 goals each. While in the first match they defeated Vidhya Bharati by a  lone goal scored by Neymar Pajing.
