Itanagar, Feb 7: A day-long seminar on ‘Industry 4.0: Leapfrog Opportunity for India’ was held today here at the Rajiv Gandhi Government Polytechnic College by National Productivity Council, Regional Directorate Guwahati as a part of the month-long activities on Productivity Week 2020.
The workshop was inaugurated in presence of Coordinator Career Counselling Cell Dr. Jitu Saikia. It deliberated on various aspects of Industry 4.0, current industrial scenario and key insights for implementation of smart manufacturing, Internet of Things etc. in Indian industries and was attended by the students and HoDs.
The seminar serves as a preamble event of the upcoming Productivity Week set to be celebrated from February 12-18 next. Similar workshops are going to be organised throughout this month. NPC PR
