PASIGHAT, Dec 6: As per direction of the Deputy Commissioner Dr. Kinny Singh, the Labour & Employment Department, Pasighat conducted a weeklong sensitization cum enrollment program in East Siang District for unorganized workers like labourers, hawkers, maids, tailors, street vendors, small shop owners etc of age 18-40 yrs, whose monthly income is 15000 or less and similar job profiles with annual turnover upto Rs. 1.5 Cr.
During the weeklong program, In-charge Labour Officer, Ome Taggu and Registering Officer (Labour Board), Tongmen Jamoh carried out enrolment activities under Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maan-Dhaan Yojana (PMSYMY) and National Pension Scheme (NPS) in Pasighat market, Balaji Mandir and bordering Ruksin area as a part of National Pension Week (NPW).
