ITANAGAR, Sep 14: Along with the rest of the country, various District Legal Services Authorities of Arunachal Pradesh on Saturday successfully conducted National Lok Adalat under the guidance of Arunachal Pradesh State Legal Services Authority.
Altogether 771 pre-litigation cases including bank recovery and other cases were listed, out of which 52 cases were disposed off with a settlement amount of Rs. 65,18,354. 240 pending cases that included criminal compoundable, bank recovery, civil and other cases were also listed, out of which 57 cases were disposed off with a settlement amount of Rs. 44,70,198.
The aforesaid National Lok Adalat was conducted by the District & Sessions Courts of Yupia, Tezu, Bomdila, Addl. District & Sessions Court, Basar, Chief Judicial Magistrates of Yupia, Pasighat, Aalo, Daporijo, Roing, Ziro, Judicial Magistrates First Class of Yupia, Yingkiong, Tawang, Namsai, Hawai and Changlang.
