ROING, Dec 19: The National Lok Adalat for all types of case was held in the Court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate-cum- Civil Judge Senior Division, Roing on December 14. The Lok Adalat was organized by the District Legal Services Authority, Roing.
The proceeding was presided over by CJM-cum-Civil Judge Senior Division cum Secretary, DLSA Tailang Laji along with members EAC Eving Yirang and Advocate Bulia Pulu.
Altogether, 279 cases were taken up,out of which 275 cases were pre-litigation bank recovery cases and 3 cases of criminal compoundable case. Out of 275 Pre-litigation bank recovery cases,09 cases were settled with settlement amount of Rs.7,33,832 and 1 case out of 3 criminal compoundable cases was settled and the rest of the cases could not be settled due to absence of parties. DIPRO
