YAZALI, Dec 24: Along with the rest of the nation, the department of Legal Metrology and Consumer Affairs, Ziro also celebrated National Consumer Day 2018 at VKV School, Yazali with the theme -"timely disposal of consumer cases".
Kesang Tashi, Inspector, LMCA explained to students and teachers about the salient features of Consumer Protection Act and consumer rights associated. He also explained how aggrieved consumers can file their grievances through the District Consumer Redressal Forum.
Later, he demonstrated about unfair trade practices by few traders.
