ITANAGAR, Mar 1: Nani Opo has been appointed as National Secretary Bharatiya Janata  Yuva Morcha (BJYM) by Member of Parliament and National President BJYM, Poonam Mahajan at New Delhi Headquarters recently amidst a large gathering of party cadre and karyakartas.
Hailing from Ziro, Opo has a distinguished track record at BJYM. He had been a torch bearer of BJYM in Arunachal Pradesh and associated himself with various programmes and policies of the youth party cadre since its inception in the state. He not only represented the BJYM at many national level conventions and meetings but also attended the ‘Asia Region Commonwealth Youth Minister’s Meet at New Delhi’ and the ‘Inter-Governmental Youth Exchange Programme at Seoul, South Korea in 2015’. He had also served as Vice-President State Yuva Morcha from 2012 to 2015 and was currently holding the post of BJYM National Executive Member while also being in-charge of Manipur.
Meanwhile, the Arunachal Pradesh BJYM State President, Taring Tiri has thanked Mahajan, Chief Minister Pema Khandu and BJP President Tapir Gao for appointment of Nani Opo to the much deserving post. While conveying best wishes, the BJYM Arunachal unit also hoped under his able leadership youth force in Arunachal Pradesh would be more galvanized and synergized in the days to come and work in more unison and with more energy.
