NAMSAI, Jul 13: The Department of food & civil supplies under the supervision of the District Administration has issued Smart Ration Card e-public Distribution System (e-PDS) to the beneficiaries who are availing PHH/AAY ration card under the National Food Security Act 2013 in Namsai District from the month of July 2019.
The beneficiaries in this system are issued with a smart ration card and a POS (Point of Sale Device) machine was installed in FPS counter. In this new system beneficiaries will facilitate the use of digital technology in delivering PDS commodities. This new technology has been introduced to monitor and control the supply chain management system and ensure that each and every beneficiary is benefitted. DC Office
