ITANAGAR, Mar 7: The Capital Complex ‘Nagrik Vhaichara Samity’ held its meeting under the new chairman SP Capital Sagar Singh Kalsi at his office chamber here at Ganga today and discussed various issues confronting society.
Several members raised the issue of traffic menace, construction of four lane road in Itanagar, obstruction of free flow of traffic in the daily market area in different parts of capital complex, hawkers on highway, gambling activities etc including construction of Police out post at Ganga and O Point Tinali.
SP Capital while welcoming all the members appealed them to dedicate some time for the cause of society’s well being and sought support from the general masses for a crime free society. He said that several programmes have been organised by the NGO previously like traffic awareness, awareness on drug and women empowerment in few school of the capital and will continue to do so in future.
Observing the rush of traffic, he opined that it can be reduced if commuters adhere to traffic rules and park their vehicle safely without disturbing others movement. ‘Few petty crimes may continue but our cautious and alertness will foil criminals,’ the SP asserted.
