ITANAGAR, Jul 12: NABARD Regional Office at capital celebrated its 38th Foundation Day here at Balapu, Sagalee with huge enthusiasm.
The event was coordinated by KVK, Papum Pare in association with SHG members. General Manager, NABARD Dr. Gopa Kumaran Nair, officials of the bank, scientists from Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Karsingsa, SHG members, TDF beneficiaries, FPO members were among others who participated in the celebration programme. GM exhorted the participants to federate the SHGs for greater benefit of the villagers.
Various promotional schemes of NABARD, subsidy schemes of Government of India and State government available for farmers were deliberated in details during the programme. Senior Scientist, KVK Dr. Perme emphasized on adoption of integrated farming for doubling of farmers’ income by 2022.
