ITANAGAR, May 27: The 38-Pasighat East Assembly Constituency MLA Kaling Moyong who has been elected for the second time has given assurance that the on-going Smart City and several other important projects would gather momentum and finished within deadlines.
Contesting as a BJP candidate, Moyong said that works were halted due to imposition of Model Code of Conduct and would commence soon and finished within time limits. He further assured to give further focus on education, health, electricity, drinking water facilities and transportation for the people of his constituency.
“During the two and half years of BJP rule in the state, we have given focus in education sector and constructed four hostels in Jawaharlal Nehru College, Pasighat which is one of the oldest college in the state,” added Moyong. He also said that project has been started for electricity connectivity from Gerikamukh to Pasighat upto Dibang Valley and Anajwand and will be completed within five years. Sirpo project from Pasighat to Ringing covering around twenty thousand urban households will be completed soon, he assured.
While stating that the BJP government has brought many developments, he also said that there are many areas still to be improved. Thanking the people of his constituency for supporting his candidature, Moyong also assured to work with sincerity and dedication for them.
