PASIGHAT, Aug 19: East Siang District Administration has granted permission to Commanding Officer, 28 Punjab Pin-911928c/o 99 APO of East Siang District, Arunachal Pradesh to conduct firing practice for ten days from August 22 to 31 here at Ranaghat Firing Range near Dangaria Baba Mandir.
As a precautionary step, DA has informed all residents and general public of Bogong area and Heads of Department/Institutions through a circular that movement of people as well as cattle and other animals will be restricted and not allowed in the firing range area in the said period from 0700 hrs to 1400 hrs as a preventive measure to avoid accidents.
