BORDUMSA, Jun 2: Day after 16 positive COVID-19 cases were detected in a single day from Changlang district, local MLA Diyun- Bordumsa, Somlung Mossang visited quarantine centers at Bordumsa circle. The MLA along with officials visited 14 different quarantine centers under Bordumsa circle to take stock of the situation and preparedness.
While interacting with the officials and people in quarantine centers, MLA appealed them not to get panic and assured to extend help in all possible way to fight against the virus. He also assured to donate Rs.10 lakh from his end to buy all the necessary items required in all quarantine centers of Bordumsa –Diyun constituency.
“We should maintain all the standard operating procedure (SOP) to contain this pandemic. Most of the patients are asymptomatic and they will be cured within the next few days if they properly maintain the laid down norms," stated the MLA. He also added that spike in positive cases is a concern for all but we can contain it, we are prepared to fight against the pandemic.
