ITANAGAR, May 6: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju has appealed the people of the state to extend support to Roshni Dada, Miss Arunachal 2019, in whatever possible manner.
Nineteen year old Roshni, who was selected as FBB Miss India Arunachal 2019 recently, is all set to represent the state at the prestigious FBB Femina Miss India 2019 at Mumbai in June next month.
“I personally believe that beauty pageants is not only a platform to exhibit the inner and external beauty, but also an opportunity to showcase one’s personality, intelligence and character,” said Rijiju.
Adding that the beauty pageant is also an occasion to display one’s rich costumes as well as to unveil the identity of a community, state and the nation, MoS extended his best wishes to Roshni in her endeavour to bring laurels.
Rijiju also congratulated the organizing committee of Miss Arunachal for providing platform to the young talents of state.
