PASIGHAT, Apr 25: Former Education Minister and sitting MLA Pangin, Tapang Taloh took stock of various ongoing projects during an extensive tour of his Pangin constituency. While pushing for early completion of various road works including road to Sissenvillage, Taloh  donated a double engine boat from his own expenses.

Addressing a meeting at Sissen, Taloh said ‘roads are the backbone, which facilitate development and growth of any area. Better road connectivity is correlated with economic development as it promotesaccess to economic and social services. He  also directed theexecuting agency (RWD) not to compromise on the quality of work and asked the villagers  to come forward and personally supervise the quality of works so that the works  would completed in  stipulated time.
Earlier, President of Nugong Bango Kebang (NBK), TapunTaki also stressed on  the  improvement in connectivity  in the village . Good roads and connectivity will greatly help in reaching out to peopleliving in other areas for business in Agri and horticulture that will
generate income and employment opportunities,’ he said.  He further appealed the DC, Siang District  to provide all supports and guidance to transform the area into an organic village.
The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Commissioner, Siang Rahul Singh, SP D. Jini, SE (PWD) Tapi Darang,  ZPM TajingTaki and others.
