BOMDILA, May 4: In order to ensure that the Bhalukpong check gate is adequately prepared to handle the influx of state’s students and others currently stranded outside, MLA Phurpa Tsering accompanied by West Kameng DC Karma Leki, SP Raja Banthia, DMO and other officials on Monday took stock of its preparedness activities.
During the visit the team visited the disinfection tunnel, screening centre and quarantine facility here at St. Xavier School. A total of six APSTS buses have been stationed at Bhalukpong since April 20 last for transportation of returnees.
The check gate is extremely important since it serves as the entry point for the three districts of West Kameng, East Kameng and Tawang. DIPRO
