NAMSAI, Sep 12: In order to provide extensive benefit to the people of Chowkham Circle, local MLA Chow Tewa Mein inaugurated newly constructed ward of Community Health Centre at Chowkham headquarters today amidst a huge gathering of officials, GBs, public leaders and general public. 
In his address, Mein said health and education are the priority sectors of the present Government and all efforts are being taken to strengthen these sectors. He further said it was a genuine demand of local people for infrastructure development of newly upgraded CHC which was fulfilled today and patients of CHC Chowkham will be immensely benefited. 
He also expressed his gratitude to the PWD for timely completion of the ward. Namsai Deputy Commissioner Dr Tapasya Raghav in her speech said government and district administration are equally concerned over the issues like infrastructure development, shortage of doctors, para medical staff, etc, but most important part is to ensure effective service delivery to the needy people of the area. She also advised medical officers and their staff to discharge their duty with complete sincerity, dedication and integrity..
