ITANAGAR, Dec 9:  Mizoram defeated Telangana 3-1 in the first match played today in Hero Sub Junior National Football Championship 2018. In a one sided affair, first goal for Mizoram was scored by Isak Zomuanpuia in the 35th minute of first half. Two more goals were added by Vanlal Malsawma and Vanlal Muanpuia in the 70th and 2nd minutes. In another one sided affair, Jharkhand defeated Haryana 5-1 in second match played today. All the goals were scored by Suraj Baxla. One consolation goal for Haryana came through Sony in the 83rd minute.
