ITANAGAR, Dec 11: Mizoram and Jharkhand state teams qualified for the semi finals from Pool B of the ongoing Hero Sub Junior National Football Championship being played here at R.G Stadium, Naharlagun.
In the last group match of the tournament Mizoram defeated Jharkhand 4-0 to emerge as the group winner from Pool B.
Earlier in the first match of the day, Haryana defeated Goa 2-0.Prashant Yadav of Haryana opened the scoring in the 32nd minute through penalty kick which was later doubled by Satyam in the 82nd minute.
Both semi finals will be played on December 13. First semi final will be played between Odisha and Jharkhand at 2 PM while host Arunachal will lock horns with Mizoram in the second semi final at 6 PM.
