Itanagar, Feb 28: Governor Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.) today conducted discussions with State Education Minister Er. Taba Tedir here at Raj Bhavan on matters relating to strengthening of the primary education sector in state.
Governor suggested for involving dedicated non-governmental organizations in promotion of education including running of Eklavya Model Residential Schools. National President, Vidya Bharati, Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Sansthan, New Delhi D. Ramakrishna Rao was also present in the meeting.
It is relevant to note that Vidya Bharati is running 29 schools including 9 Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas across the state under the banner of ‘Arunachal Shiksha Vikas Samiti’. PRO Raj Bhavan
