Banderdewa, Nov 9: Minister Land Management, Environment and Forest, SJETA and local MLA Nabam Rebia today appealed the police and security personnel to be public friendly while discharging their responsibility as security personnel and in maintaining law and order.
He was addressing the officers, officials and police personnel as well as trainees at the Police Training centre (PTC) here on the occasion of final round of Arunachal Pradesh Police Athletics and Firing competition as chief guest.
Guest of Honour, Home & Urban development Minister  Kumar Waii elaborated several developmental schemes, projects and reforms undertaken by the Home department for police modernisation and welfare measures.
Director General of Police (DGP) SBK Singh, encouraged the personnel and appealed them to be disciplined and maintain good relation with all including ensuring communal harmony and brotherhood.
DIGP(Trg) Kime Kaming, PTC Principal Surendra Choudhary and DySP (Trg) Dusu Kaling among others also addressed the gathering.
