Aalo, Apr 30: Minister Industry, Textile & Handicraft Er. Tumke Bagra on Thursday conducted a detailed meeting here to assess the on-ground preparedness and lockdown measures with West Siang Deputy Commissioner, DMO and the nodal departments assigned to fight the Covid-19 pandemic in the district.
Bagra was briefed on the measures being taken up by Team West Siang. He lauded the effort of the officers in handling the situation so far despite limitations in availability of modern PPE and testing equipment and said prevention is always better than cure. He also appreciated the voluntary services rendered by the organizations like GYO, PAYWA and NGOs, Welfare Societies, officers, citizens and businessmen through voluntary contributions in form of cash and kind to boost the morale of the district’s frontline warriors.
