NAMSAI, Jul 31: Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein presided over the joint meeting of District Planning Board and District Level Committee on Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Karyakaram with the objective of chalking out  holistic action plans for the districts in all sectors here today.
Mein said that there the state is aiming to bring desirable reforms and changes in the manner that is being initiated by the central government. As a part of that, Staff Selection Committee has been formed and appointments of JEs, JTs have been made along with recruitment of all Group A & B officers through Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission for ensuring transparency, he added. He said that efforts are on to bring reforms in the planning process and requested everybody to cooperate in the process.

He added that although state government had decided to do away with SIDF & SADA, there will be Annual Operating Plan by the departments and asked them to prepare Short Term (Annual) and Long Term (five year) perspective development plans. Respective Deputy Commissioners were also asked to finalise the schemes in consultation with the public representatives in the districts and forward them to the government on priority basis. 

HoDs presented reports on the progress of the works under central and state flagship programmes and highlighted the proposals for the 2019-20 Annual Plans. Dy CM also launched the mobile app “Yathasarvam” developed by Eckovation which is a one stop solution to ensure quality education for students through integration of technology with focus on ensuring continuous monitoring and accountability.
