Itanagar, Aug 26: Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein today called on the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.) here at Raj Bhavan to discuss developmental issues of the state, with special focus on power and investment.
Governor while emphasising on regular monitoring of the on-going projects in State, especially those under Central sponsored schemes and programmes, stressed on judicious utilization of funds particularly by work/task implementing agencies with transparency and accountability. Discussions on financial inclusion initiatives, Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) and clearing of bottlenecks in the developmental process took place and the Governor advocated for a concerted effort from all stakeholders including the departments, implementing agencies and general public for timely completion of projects.
