ITANAGAR, Feb 12: Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein who is also the Minister In-charge for Hydropower on Wednesday called a meeting of Hydropower Developers and Deputy Commissioners to understand the issues hampering implementation of the allotted projects in state.
Reiterating that state government is committed to provide all possible assistance to the serious investors, Mein directed the DCs to provide all cooperation from the administration side. He suggested the developers to be more serious towards the allotted projects and show real intent in their implementation. DCM also directed the Secretary Land Management to take all necessary steps to sort out the issues of land acquisition in all the allotted projects in a time bound manner and called upon the District Administrations, power developers and PCCF to work in tandem to get the projects implemented.
