TAWANG, Mar 10:

 

The 2nd mega legal service camp was held at Parade Ground, Tawang organised by the District Legal Service Authority in collaboration with District Administration and Human Rights First (NGO).

 The camp was inaugurated by ZPC Tawang Jambey Tsering in presence of Deputy Commissioner Tawang Sang Phuntsok, SP Tawang and JMFC  cum Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Tawang amongst others.

A total 276 beneficiaries were provided yarn under the CMs Indigenous Textile Promotion scheme while three other beneficiaries were given free gas connections under the PM Ujwala Yojana. Further, the event also saw distribution of free seeds, samplings and medicines by respective departments. Almost 2700 people attended the camp.
Secretary, DLSA apprised that similar camps would also be organised at Lumla and Jang during April next.

DLSA Tawang provides free services like legal aid counselling, photocopy of documents, affidavits, forms of various schemes and other services made available by the participation of various departments, court staffers, advocates and para legal volunteers at help desk.
