TAWANG, Nov 25: A preliminary coordination meeting  to review the preparedness of the forthcoming 7th North East Youth Festival 2019 at Tawang  was convened today here in the Conference Hall of Deputy Commissioner. 
ADC I/c DC Tawang Lobsang Tsering chaired the meeting which was attended by President YUVA Arunachal Tsetan Chombay, all HoDs, representatives from army, public leaders and student leaders. ADC sought cooperation from all for successful conduct of the event and  briefly read out the minutes of the meeting held recently in State Guest House in Itanagar. Coordinator for 7th NEYF 2019 said that it is a great opportunity to organize such a mega event with round 1800 youths from eight NE states participating and competing in various events like
Folk song, Folk dance, War of bands, instrumental performance, Beat box Battle, rap song, stand-up comedy, photography, cook off Master-chef style etc. Besides these there will be competitions on rock climbing by mountaineers, trekking, treasure hunt and cycling.
Workshop cum training on positive use of social media by experts, participation of beauty pageants of Northeast in ethnic dresses, presence of renowned artists & singers and famous Bollywood artists will also be added attractions of the festival.  DIPRO
