NAMSAI, Dec 10: The first zonal review meeting of ‘Mukhya Mantri Rogi Kalyan Kosh (MMRKK)’ for 2018-19 was held here at the Conference Hall of a private resort on December 9 last.
Held under the chairmanship of Secretary (Health & Family Welfare), GoAP  P. Parthiban,  the review meeting was conducted for the eight districts of Longding, Tirap, Changlang, Namsai, Anjaw, Lohit, Dibang Valley and Lower Dibang Valley. During the meeting, respective DMOs presented their status of progress of the MMRKK programme being implemented in their districts with regard to procurement of medicines and materials, civil work activities, health camps and activities performed related to hospital quality certification. During discussion hour, many issues and queries raised by the DMOs were clarified by Secretary (Health & FW) who also sought suggestions and inputs for improving the implementationpart of MMRKK in state. 
The meeting was attended by State Nodal Officer (MMRKK) Dr. R. Dodum and Deputy Director (CMS) Dr. Nabam Takang. Similar MMRKK zonal review meetings for the remaining districts will be also be conducted.
