ITANAGAR, Jan 29: The Second Co-Ordination-Cum-Review meeting of Department of Civil Aviation, Government of Arunachal Pradesh with special reference to early execution of Green Field Airport at Holongi and settlement of land issue of Naharlagun Helipad was held under the chairmanship of Minister (Civil Aviation) Nakap Nalo today. The meeting was attended by SK Jain, Secretary (Civil Aviation and Land Management), Tamiyo Tatak, Director (Civil Aviation), Komkar Dulom, Deputy Commissioner, Itanagar Capital Complex, Tabang Bodung, ADC, Yupia, Papum Pare District, Ashok Tajo, EAC, Naharlagun and officers from Land Records Department from Papum Pare/ICC, and Directorate of Land Management including officers from Directorate of Civil Aviation. After review and threadbare discussion, it was unanimously decided that all hindrance/obstructions in execution of Holongi Airport shall be cleared immediately by the District Administration, Papum Pare and Itanagar Capital District Administration for Naharlagun Helipad.
The Minister urged all stake holders to shoulder the responsibility in team spirit to execute and implement the project in a time bound manner and he also assured all possible help and support from the State Government to alleviate any obstruction for smooth completion of this dream project.
