YUPIA, Apr 19:

 

District Task Force on Immunization Meeting on Special Intensified Mission Indradhanush (SIMI)’2018 under the chairmanship of EAC Mabi Taipodia, was conducted here at ZPC conference hall today to discuss the strategies, finalization of SIMI Micro Plan and other issues. The meeting was conducted by District Health Society Papum Pare, Yupia.


While speaking to the participants, the EAC appreciated the work carried forward by the team of Health Department on all fronts and underlined the importance of providing correct information of every task assigned and timely uploading of reports on portals of government to make the work hassle free and easy accessibility of any information.


DMO Dr Tasso Kampu Subu reiterated on proper implementation of SIMI to achieve 100% coverage as per government. She also called upon line departments like ICDS and Education to give all kinds of support to medical team during the immunization mission and said that just like successful MRVC campaign in the district we need to work in missionary zeal to achieve the target of SIMI as well. 


SMO, WHO Dr Tage Taka also gave presentation on overall performance of immunization in the state and Papum Pare district in particular and informed that during SIMI special  focus will be on vaccination compromised areas particularly which are partially or never vaccinated areas.


DRCHO Dr. J. Ado also gave presentation on Micro Plan of the district and requested all MO I/C to submit their report and Micro-Plan on time.
MO i/c representatives from ICDS, Education and staffers of health department were present in the meeting.
